Wellbeing Workshops

A friend of mine suggested I join this healing journey through inner child workshops, as I felt a little lost and unsure about where my future was headed. I’m not really into dolls or soft toys, nor am I someone who shares feelings easily, so I was a bit nervous and skeptical. However, I’m so glad I participated! The facilitator, Janine, was lovely and made me feel welcomed. The atmosphere in her home radiated spirituality and peace, which helped me relax. I could chat openly with the other attendees without feeling judged. I totally enjoyed the experience of creating my 'mini me' through soft toy creation.

I had the privilege of attending an inner child doll-making workshop facilitated by Janine Marie, and it was a truly profound experience. Janine created a space that felt safe, nurturing, and deeply respectful of each person’s emotional journey. Her professionalism was evident throughout, yet it was her kindness and intuitive presence that made the experience so special.

She had a remarkable ability to know when to gently guide and when to simply listen and hold space. I felt completely supported and trusted her with my feelings and emotions, which allowed me to open up in ways I hadn’t expected.

The quality of the workshop was also reflected in the materials provided—only the best materials were supplied, which added to the care and intention behind the entire experience.

Through this process, I was able to connect with my inner child on a deeply meaningful level. The experience was insightful, healing, and continues to stay with me, offering ongoing moments of reflection and understanding.

I completed the doll making course with Janine. I had zero experience with sewing. Janine was patient and accommodating when I needed assistance. 

I enjoyed doing my inner doll, it was a nice time talking about a range of different things and remembering both good and some not so good memories. It was a safe and comfortable place with the other girls 

Thanks Janine I’m yet to find some little clothes that I want to dress her in (70’s fabrics) but that’s part of the enjoyment- keeping an eye out.

I was a bit sceptical in doing the work shop. I have been through a lot of abuse as a child and worked a lot on my wellbeing as an adult. Once I started building my inner child, I and the other women in attendance from different adult ages began to share stories of growing up. I could not leave until my inner child was finished with a great sense of achievement. I also learnt that I was not alone, not to have shame and felt a sense of inner peace. The facilitator Janine is amazing, thoughtful and held the space with warmth and thoughtfulness. I would advise all to attend the workshop. I am sure you will come out knowing more about yourself.
